Images from the Baltimore Museum of Art: (from June 29)


A stunning special exhibition brings us the beautiful, large paintings of Meleko Mokgosi in his exhibition "Acts of Resistance."  They are beautiful stark allegories with expressive, subtly haunting portraits of common folk incorporated.  I cannot recommend this show enough.  But let the art's work speak for itself.

I regret that I did not take notes of the titles of these works, I think I was just too enthralled by the images...
