Maryland Zoo: Tumpeter Swans

 Every year our pair of Trumpeter Swans hatches out a couple of chicks.  Once mature, they will be join members of previous broods and be set free by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources as part of a reintroduction into the wild of this species.
