Cape May County Zoo - NJ: part 2 of 5 (from July 9)

From here you come to the zoo's Aviary.  It is a walk through structure with lots of birds and natural vegetation and water features.  Outside of the building are a series of smaller cages, a series of larger cages and larger habitats for Flamingoes and American Bald Eagles.

The smaller cages are well shaded and separated by a fenced lawn space.


Grey Parrot


Around the corner are four large cages with larger tropical birds.

 Most of the inhabitants were macaw species like this pair of Yellow and Blue Macaws.

 The World of Birds entrance is rather small by comparison to the interior that opens up for you on the other side.
