Toledo Museum of Art: parting glances

It was clear that we would not be able to see everything that the Toledo Museum has to offer.  After finishing time in the Marisol retrospective exhibition, we dipped in here and there on our way out.  Here are some parting works that caught my attention.

"Young Man with a Plumed Hat," 1631
Rembrandt van Rijn, 1606 - 1669
[Dutch]

"Peasants before an Inn," circa 1650 - 1660
Jan Steen, 1625/26 - 1679
[Dutch]

"A Diana Monkey on a Chain in a Landscape with Four Colorful Birds in the Sky," circa 1690
Melchior d'Honecoeter, 1636 - 1695
[Dutch]

"Merry Company on a Terrace," 1623
Dirck Hals, 1591 - 1656
[Dutch]

"Barnyard," 1863
Eugene Verboackhoven, 1798 - 1881
[Belgian]

"The Scottish Highlands," 1875
Gustave Dore, 1832 - 1883
[French]

"London Visitors," circa 1874
James-Jacques-Joseph Tissot, 1836 - 1902
[French]

"A Sea Veiw, Niemenlautta (Gulf of Finland)," circa 1907 - 1917
Hugo Simberg, 1873 - 1917
[Finnish]

"Rooks in a Field," 1891
Laurits Andersen Ring, 1854 - 1933
[Danish]

"Interior of Courtyard, Strandgade 30," 1899
Vilhelm Hammershoi, 1864 - 1916
[Danish]

"Figure in a Landscape," circa 1490
Luca Signorelli, 1441 - 1523
[Italian]

Seriously, the title of this one cracked me up!  Landscape my ass--or better put, these models' asses.
