The Smithsonian National Zoo reopened to the public yesterday. I was there with "bells on the shoes" at 9 AM. Lots of signage for crowd movement, though some of it was ambiguous. I'm sure they'll be refining. I was directed from the entrance off of Connecticut Avenue all the way down North Street to the bottom of the zoo to parking lot D. Actually, my preferred lot. The zoo is located on a VERY steep hill. Parking at the bottom allows my to finish my visits on a downhill effort!
When you enter at the bottom, your first stop is the Children's farm.
