Cold autumns evenings are the perfect time for homemade soup. I hope to use this season to explore some new ones. Tonight I made this "Porrusalda" from the Basque region of Spain.
Chicken broth base with:
Potato
Carrot
Onion
Leek
and Cod
Seasoned with:
Salt
Garlic
and Saffron
Garnished with:
Fresh Chives from my garden
Verdict? It's definitely a keeper!
