The Antelope Yard is home to three species: besides the Lesser Kudu, there are Addra Gazelles and a pair of Saddle-billed Storks. The day before my visit, one of the storks had a little adventure. Around 1 pm it suddenly took flight and soared over to the Waterhole Habitat alighting among the zebras, ostriches and Southern White Rhinoceros! The rescue team went into recovery mode and was able to effect a safe return for the adventurous stork!
