Dislodged from the little embankment along my driveway, the serendipitous gift of an industrious little Eastern Mole; it rolled down onto the concrete pad where upon I drove over it, the wait of my truck sufficient to split it clean asunder along its obvious little fault line. What took a couple of a hundred million years to create still bore a weakness present from the time of its formation. I love geology!
