Volunteering along the northern pathway into the main zoo from the entrance plaza called the Buffalo Yard Road, I enjoyed the many wild deer that were foraging and frolicking on both sides of walkway. I counted at least 13 distinct animals, but with all the coming and going, it could have been higher.
The young man in the couple in the rear is pointing to a trio grazing on that side of the trail.
