Maryland Zoo: A Day in the Life, part 2

The future of the Maryland is bright.  So many good things happening all the time.  The latest is the construction of habitrails through the trees for our lesser primates to use in exploring the world outside of the Chimpanzee Forest building.  This work is moving along at a good pace.  Soon our Ring-tailed Lemurs, Red Ruffed Lemurs, Coquerel's Sifaka and Colobus Guerezas will be exploring the world around them in a new and exciting way
The new trail leading from the Chimpanzee Forest building across the guest path and along the zoo's small gauge railroad through the trees toward a trio of open air habitats.
Looking through the trees and the habitrail.
The path of the habitrail diverges and connects to each of the open habitats via dedicated lines.
