Smithsonian National Zoo: Amazonia, part 3 (from June 16)

Once you exit the formal rainforest you can either depart, which a lot people do--OR you can walk around a little lobby and descend some stairs into their Amphibian Research Labs where you'll get a chance to see several species of Poison Dart Frogs along with a handful of others.  There is also a side room with Saltwater Coral Reef habitats.  I don't think this option is obvious to many people who visit, but I wouldn't miss it.  Icing on the cake of this wonderful aspect of this wonderful national zoo.
