Lehigh Valley Zoo - Schnecksville, PA: part 2 of 5 (from June 26)

From here you walk along a path and down the hill past some small enclosures with animals like Raccoon, Opossum, and Skunk.  On the right is a slight diversion to a little aviary and open habitat for some tropical birds.  Then at the bottom of the hill are farm buildings and animals that are part of their current petting/domesticated farm animal collection.  There is also a pond with swans and other waterfowl.

 You can enter and walk among the birds, but only when a keeper is present and one was not when I was there.

 Llamas--zonked out llamas.
 Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs

 There are two species of goats here.  The Troggenborgs (above) from Europe and the Nubians (below) from Africa.


 Trumpeter Swan on some very green water.
