Across from this area is the first of three primate islands. This one is home to Saimang. The first time I visited this zoo there were many of them. This time only two were residing on the island, but I encounters several others in other enclosures at the zoo. Saimang and Gibbons are the smallest of the Greater Apes that include: Chimpanzees and Bonobos, Orangutans and Gorillas. These two seemed to be enjoying the warm spring sun.
Lots of non-native ducks and geese were all around the zoo. Here a pair of Egyptian Geese are swimming around the Saimang's Island.
