President's Day Trip to the Zoo: Polar Bear Watch

Another signature habitat is the Polar Bear Watch.  Once home to three Polar Bears, now there is just Anoki, a female.  Anoki was artificially inseminated this past autumn with great hopes, but the pregnancy did not take.  Also inhabiting the space are a pair of Grizzly Bear sisters who are just over 18 months old.  They were orphaned in Montana and sent to the Maryland Zoo for their survival.  You will also encounter Ravens, Bald Eagles, and Arctic Fox.  All of these animals are cool with cold days, too.
