Maryland Zoo: Selected Primates

The Maryland Zoo is home to five species of primates, all from the old world--all from Africa, three from Madagascar.  This is one of three male Black & White Colobus Monkeys, Colobus guereza.  They are native to the jungles of Angola and other sub-equatorial Africa.
The Ringtail Lemur, Lemur catta, is one of 4 at the zoo.  To other Lemuridae species are also part of the zoo's holding: Coquerel's Sifaka and Red Ruffed Lemur.
One of the 13 members of the Maryland Zoo's troop of Common Chimpanzees.
