The final stop is in the Engine Shop where you can come up close and personal with a couple of the behemoths of the mid-20th century golden age of steam locomotives. You can also pear into the heart of an engine, but the real thrill comes from sitting in the engineer's seat and marveling at the shear massiveness of power and raw energy literary glowing at your feet! To stare into the maw of the grand beast is sobering and left me with a tremendous respect for the Engineers of this bygone era.
