My Little Garden Zoo: Cats v Dogs/Dogs v Cats

From Primates in our last visit to Felines and Canines, the perennial conundrum.  But at My Little Garden Zoo there are plenty of examples of both for visitors to Enjoy!

AFRICA

African Lion
Panthera leo

The Lion Pride is 10 members large with 2 adult males, 3 adult females, 1 adolescent male and 1 adolescent female and 3 cubs.  It's a combination that makes for a lively community.

The adolescent male likes to spar with the older male.

The cubs are always ready to play.

And the Patriarch and Matriarch of the Pride are always keeping a watchful eye on their family.

Gray Wolf
Canis lupus

With more than 30 subspecies of the Gray Wolf, I am identifying the pack at My Little Garden Zoo as simply Gray (not Timber, Arctic, etc.)  The Pack is home to a congenial group of 9 adults and 5 pups.

The pups' curiosity never wanes.

Fortunately, there are always aunties and uncles ready to defend them at a hint of an intruder.

Red Fox
Vulpes vulpes
