Cowboy Candy Time!

I find it so hard to get spicy things that are spicy.  Not CRAZY picante, but not bland like all the salsas out there that claim to be "hot".  One solution is to make my own candied Jalapenos, a.k.a. Cowboy Candy.  It's easy and worth every moment of effort.  Tonight I converted 6 lbs of Jalapenos into 14 pints.
